Because of studying the book, “I am A Church Member,” ten things were identified as expectations of a Mount Sinai Mission Baptist Church Member

Be saved – Roman 10:9-10; Acts 4:12

Be a devoted giver – Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Be Christ-like – Romans 12:2; Philippians 2:1-2

Be dedicated to studying the Word of God – 2 Timothy 2:15; Psalm 119:11

Be committed to the ministry – Proverbs 16:3; Romans 12:1-2

Be one who seeks to serve one another -Matthew 20:28; 1 Peter 4:10

Be a regular Church attendee – Hebrews 10:25; Hebrews 13:17

Be willing to assist and pray for the Pastor – Numbers 6:24-26; Philippians 1:3-5

Be kind, loving & compassionate – Ephesians 4:32; 1 Corinthians 13:1

Be a witness to the un-saved (evangelism) – Romans 10:14; 2 Timothy 1:8
